In 2000 we had our
field day at Big Bald Mountain (elev. 2260') part of the Historians
Range 60 miles in the woods northwest of Miramichi N.B.. At this attempt
at mobile/emergency communications we learned many valuable lessons about
operating at a remote outdoor location. We also had a great deal of fun
setting up and operating our field day station. We set up vertical and
dipole antennas for almost all bands. Here's some of the pics!
